Alexander talking decision

Cartersville, Georgia star running back Morgan Alexander is talking about a decision. The 5'10, 170-pound Alexander visited one of his favorites – Louisville – over the weekend. He'll visit his other favorite – N.C. State - this weekend and is planning a decision soon after that trip. Do the Cardinals have an edge?

"It went good," Morgan Alexander said. "I liked the campus, the school and the community. When I first got there I met with my recruiting coordinator Greg Nord and I met the coach (Steve Kragthorpe) at the football game. We talked one on one and he asked me how I liked (Louisville) and if I thought I could fit in with them."

What was Alexander's response to Kragthorpe?

"I told him I thought I could fit in," Alexander said. "They think I can come in and make a great impact on the football team. They want me to continue to keep my grades up in high school and hopefully I could commit."

Louisville is recruiting Alexander as a slot back or slot receiver. Alexander has narrowed his list to Louisville and N.C. State and he'll make an official visit to see the Wolfpack this weekend. After that visit, Alexander said he'll probably sit down with his parents next week and make a decision between the two schools.

"I would call Louisville my leader and I would put them on top of my list for the moment," Alexander said. "I visit N.C. State this coming weekend. I'm really excited to go to N.C. State and I was real excited to go to Louisville. When I go to N.C. State I'm going to see what the coaching staff is talking about and see how the community is because Louisville's community – they love the Cardinals and the community is behind them 100 percent. I want to see if N.C. State is the same."

Alexander says there are several important factors that will play into his decision.

"I've already visited Louisville and when I visit N.C. State I'm going to write down a piece of paper what I'm looking for and which school has what I'm looking for that's who I'm going to sign with," Alexander said. "I'm looking at the community, the school, the dorms, playing time and academics. I want to see how their business schools are."
