Elizabethtown (KY) John Hardin OL Van Ingram will attend the University of Louisville next season as a non-scholarship athlete. Ingram officially visited Eastern Kentucky last weekend and said he reached his decision Monday.

“I think I’m just going to be a preferred walk-on at Louisville,” the 6’6, 290-pound Ingram said. “Last week Greg Nord came to my school and said they want me to be a preferred walk-on and I talked to them earlier today.”

Van Ingram said he plans to travel to UofL before signing day to make his arrangements for next year.

“I’m going to go up there, talk to them and give them my application and transcripts,” Ingram said.

Ingram said John Hardin teammate Chris White is planning to join him as a walk-on at UofL next season. White, a 6-foot-4 athlete, also plays basketball. He could project at several positions due to his athleticism and size.
