The following is a partial list of visitors that are making their way to U of L for the weekend. ITV will provide updates of additional names throughout the weekend.
LB/DE Joe Anoai
Four-year starter in high school, spending this past season as member of the Escambia High School football team in Pensacola, Florida. Recorded 120 tackles, 12 sacks, five forced fumbles and one interception as a senior. Other official visits include: Auburn, Georgia Tech, NC State and South Florida.
WR Brandon Bradley
Bradley is from Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, the same high school as two recent commitments, P Brent Moody and WR Todd Brigman. He is also receiving attention from Clemson, Central Florida and South Florida.
WR Todd Brigman
Brigman committed to the Cardinals on New Year's Day and will be making his first visit to Louisville this weekend. He is one of four players from Lincoln High School that are making the trip.
DB William Gay
Gay also comes from Tallahassee, but from rival Rickards High School. Like a number of recruits visiting the weekend, Gay is also a standout track athlete. Gay is also the starting quarerback for Rickards. He has received offers from Vanderbilt and Central Florida.
S Michael Hinton
Hinton was a 2001 Preason All-State, All-Region, All-Conference Defensive Player of the Year selecion, as well as a 2002 Preseason All-American. He has visited Virginia Tech and has scheduled visits to Georgia and NC State.
DE Wille Johnson
Johnson, along with Moody, Brigman and Bradley, is another member of the tradition-rich Lincoln program that is visiting U of L this weekend.
P Brent Moody
Moody was the first known commitment for new head coach Bobby Petrino. He is one of the top punters in the nation and recently participated in the CaliFlorida All-Star game in Los Angeles.
RB Kolby Smith
Smith is a highly sought after running back from Rickards High School in Tallahassee. He rushed for over 1,000-yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior. Smith's decision could come down to the Cards or Gators. He will also be visiting Florida later in January.
QB Preston Smith
Big, strong quarterback with good quickness. A bit of a sleeper coming out of middle Georgia. He has the talent to make a move to either the wide receiver or defensive back position. The Cardinals have offered Smith.
WR/DB Jacob Tamme
From Boyle County High School, Tamme comes from the same program that produced current Cardinals, Bobby and Travis Leffew. He was recently named to the Orlando Sentinel's Dandy Dozen All-Southern team. He will also visit Indiana and hopes to renew contact with Kentucky.
QB Jake Tompkins
Rated by TheInsiders.com as the second best quarterback in the State of Alabama, Tompkins threw for a state record 46 touchdown passes this year. He has offers from a number of schools, including Louisville, Southern Miss, Clemson and Central Florida.
