The coaching staff is complete.
Greg Brohm, a former standout wide receiver for the Cardinals, has joined Bobby Petrino's football staff as the new Director of Football Operations.
"I'm excited about this opportunity," Brohm said.
As a graduate, former player and team broadcaster, I have a passion for the university and the football program."
Brohm replaces Tony Levine, who, along with Reggie Johnson, now coaches the linebackers.
"The Brohm family has been a big part of the Cardinal football program and I know that Greg will be a natural fit for our program," Petrino said.
A member of the U of L football program from 1989-92, Brohm had been the President of the Louisville Fire, an Arena 2 franchise, as well as assisting on 840 WHAS Radio's football broadcasts of U of L games.
As Director of Football Operations, Brohm will assist in team scheduling and travel, recruiting, as well as helping to coordinate events such as the CARDMarch!
Brohm caught 45 passes for 722 yards and three touchdowns in his career at U of L.
2004 Schedule Announced
"Our 2004 schedule is intriguing with Kentucky at home and North Carolina and Miami on the road," Petrino said. "Plus we play two Conference USA bowl teams on the road which will be a challenge. Even though we have only five home games, we are very happy with the teams coming to Papa John's Cardinal Stadium this season."
