All-Conference selection as a senior after leading the Cardinals in tackles with 72/8.5/2. Also intercepted two passes and broke up five more. Three-year starter.
2004: Second on the team with 84 tackles and had a pair of interceptions...
totalled 10 tackles and two pass breakups in the Liberty Bowl win over Boise
State.
2003: Played in all 13 games, making 11 starts ... posted a career-high in tackles
with 50 ... credited with six tackles for loss and three sacks.
2002: Named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team by the league coaches and media and by the Sporting News.
High School: first-team all-metro choice by the Birmingham News ... honorable mention all-state at the 6A level by Birmingham News ... 80 tackles including 14 for loss as a senior ... added six pass breakups and four blocked kicks in his final prep campaign ... honorable mention all-metro choice as a junior. |
