Finished his junior year making eight of 13 tries including a long of 56 yards. All misses were from forty yards or longer. Qualified for finals of January 2006 Scout.com Competition Expo in Miami. Qualified for national finals of Kicking.com Combine Series held January 2007 in San Antonio. Selected for 2006 All-Conference 2nd Team as a kicker.

"Vinny is a solid kicker. He has a great leg and is extremely consitent. One of the best mechanical kickers in the nation!"
